Hello to all!!! Been on this site since November when I sold my motorcycle to purchase a boat. Felt bad leaving the family behind. I enjoy this site lots of good info. I myself have lots of questions, I just yanked out my fuel tank on my 1980 V20. I posted some pics under repairs. I need some good ideas on how to secure the new tank in the making at Atlantic Welding in Bayville, NJ. I rather not go with the foam, please help!!!
I'm still new to the site, so please help me navigate around here. |

That's the same place I had a tank made up for my old 28' Silverton. Great place and they do nice work. As for mounting, I am not sure, but the gurus here will put you on the right track. Do it right the first time and you will never have to do it again.

My thoughts exactly, think I wanna add another foot to the new tank and still have room for supports, how many more gallons is that gonna give me? Is it worth it? Yes, they have a good reputation there, found them in the fishermen mag. They are only 10-15 min from me.
