I think Batman must have retired and finally put the Batboat on the market. I remember starting at the old 6 cyl Merc's in the late 60's and wishing.

i saw a couple of those boats and they were all the same color and also had the merc tower of power.

I'm really starting to to think for 500 bucks it might be really cool to own....I think the original seats were probaby bench seats like a car as well.....hmmmmm

I still have a complete Merc 115HP Tower of Power sitting in my shed. Love those engines. PITA to work on for some things, but at least you never had to worry about blowing a head gasket.... (They don't have heads). Only reason I don't have it hooked to a boat is that this one doesn't have power tilt and trim... so it's a pain to lift etc.... Still, they were great engines IMHO. It's nice to see old boats like this one.. Remember the ones with the big tail fins?
