Default Graduation

Going to Raleigh NC to watch my daughter graduate from Paramedic school tomorrow (Friday 17).
She did the condensed school where she finished in 12 months in lieu if 18 months.

Class started with 130 people and there will only be 25 graduating tomorrow.

The latest graduation goes along with a mechanical engineering degree, Agriculture degree, and a business degree all from NC State.

MAybe this will be the last one she gets. I helped with the engineering and she got the others by herself.

I'm proud of her and tomorrow she gets her paper and starts with the county as a paramedic. Most of the time it takes about a year to get a job in this field but she graduated at the top of her class and the county wanted her so they offered her a job before she took her last exam.

If she had failed that test then she would have failed for the whole year. In this course you can't fail any exam/ test.

I'm happy she has finished and I'm happy/proud to go watch her get her certification.

Congratulations to you and your daughter, thats alot to be proud of. Having an education like that gives you an advantage over most job seekers. I have one daughter in pharmacy school at Elizabeth City State University, she also works at CVS pharmacy at Nags Head as a pharmacy tech. I'm also going to my youngest daughters banquet at COA's Culinary School this afternoon. This is her first semester in chef school.

Hey C
My sister is the head Tech for CVS, she's headquartered in Pensacola FLa.
She's the one who wrote the book and policies for training tech's.
Her husband is in the Corp side CVS and I'm not exactly sure what he does but it brings in big bucks for them.

Her system teaches the tech's to actually run the store so the Pharmacist only has to concentrate on making sure the presc are right.

In the store she works in to stay sharp the parmaicist actually reports to her for working orders.
But she said the Pharmacist is actually in charge of the whole store but if he follows the rules it makes his job easier.

Walgreens and Wal-mart have tried to hire her away and everytime CVS finds out they give her a raise and a new bonus.

Both of your kids are in a great profession to have nice incomes.
