Default Great first season with our V 20

We pulled our V 20 for the season last week. We had a blast with the V 20 this past summer. What a great handling 20' boat. We used the boat so much that we sold our 25 footer and bought something a bit larger.
Took the boat out for a ride and took a quick swim (very very quick brrrrrr). The beach was deserted and lonely. Brought her home and did the lube change, fogging, flushing, etc and put her in the barn for the winter. Can't wait for next season. Thanks to all that contribute to the forum. I lurk around a lot and always learn something.

Bottom was a little dirty and could only get her up to 45 +/-

Blame it on the V 20..................Our new to us boat that replaced our 25 footer. Bringing her home tomorrow. This is like getting a pool or new bike for Christmas. It's going to be a long winter....

That's a nice Christmas present. Wish I had a barn to store my boat(s) in.... <sigh> Maybe some year when I move back down south.. For now it's rig the framework and cover them. Oh well. Cheers....

Destroyer,
We covered our V 20 with a frame and tarp last winter. I got lazy this year and put it in the barn at my Mom's place (should have done it last winter also). She has been in assisted living for 2 years now and nobody is using the space (accept my Dad's GTO). My nephew is suppose to move in and buy the old farm house but he hasn't yet. I figured since I get to mow the lawn, clean the gutter, plow the drive I can use the barn.
Picture of the V last winter. The barn is in the background behind the fence.

I think we are going to feel like Santa Claus riding in his sled bring the Bertram home today. With a high of 48 degress it should make for a very very chilly ride. No inside second station so I might bring the Mr Buddy heater for the flybridge. Wish it was earlier in the season so we could enjoy the boat more but it's time to haul and winterize. To many systems on this boat and with me being a green owner I have lots to learn about this boat.

I totally agree with you Reel...That's a boss wheel for sure!!

And Inaforty, you're completely correct.... Whoever mows the lawn, cleans the gutters and plows the drive gets to use the barn.. it's in all the contracts...
