Default bow rail

Anyone know where I should begin looking for a replacement bow rail? It had been completely removed by one of the previous owners.

Hey awthacker. I know I spent a ton of time looking for a new set and came up with only a few options. One taking them off an older boat most the 71 to 76 were made with bracket's and a few other years I'm sure but the 80's and newer are one pc design. I ended up spending hours of sanding with 2400 and buffing & polishing it worked out ok. In your case not sure of the year boat you have but can have a set made for about 1200 or so , for me that's a little to high. An older boat I made a new set just picked up all the fittings ss pipe and made a template out of heavy gauge wire . You will only have to bend three pc's and that can be done at a local muffler shop that deals with ss pipe they would have the coated rollers not to scratch the pipe. Get the pip and fittings off of EBAY to save a little green. You should be in the range of 400 to get it done. I had the same problem with the rub rails started sanding with 100 down to 220 and then spent hours buffing & polishing came out looking good and a lot cheaper then buying new or adding rope. Hopefully some one has other ideas that may help you..Good Luck
