| Another New Owner Here

Just dropping in to say hello. I recently picked up a 1982 V20 with the original Merc 150 on it (boat and trailer for 3K). This is my first boat, and I can honestly say that while researching which boat to buy I spent a great deal of time on this site. Any boat that his this many believers has to be a good purchase. I'm running the boat out on the Boston Harbor and so far she has exceeded all of my expectations. I've actually set up a site (with a bit of tongue and cheek in there) that's going to document my new purchase. www.sunsetbandit.com Last edited by xtianwilliams; 09-12-2010 at 11:26 AM. |

Thanks guys. You're right about it being clean. Not a single crack or tear in a cushion. I got lucky. Funny. Not only am I from NE. But i grew up in Lakebille and now both of my parents live in Middleborough. |

yes, you got lucky alright! You'd be hard-pressed to find a boat in this good a shape for the price you mentioned (and I've been looking). Congratulations!

Peiserma, Not sure where you are located. But there is an 82 in MA right now that looks fairly similar and priced. http://providence.craigslist.org/boa/1949630167.html |

Blue Runner... Unfortunately the bikini season had come and gone before I had my boat in the water. Trust me...I had envisioned lots of bikinis. That was definitely high on my list of things to see when I moved back to Boston. But...I guess they'll have to wait until next season Last edited by xtianwilliams; 09-18-2010 at 12:05 PM. |
