Hi Folks:
Just got a 1985 V-20 Steplift. I am refinishing the teak and am having a problem removing the teak trim pieces that make the track that the cuddy roof slides on. They are each throug-bolted with 5 bolts/nuts. I have removed them all. The ends of the wood nearest the bow are loose, however, the teak seems to be still connected FIRMLY on the sections farthest from the bow. There doesn't seem to be any other points of attachment from above or beneath. I doubt there was any glue used in this situation. Any suggestions. Thanks. Marty |

Glue (after factory) or finish getting under the rail are the only things I can think of. I would try slipping a small putty knife under there and see if some gentle prying might not pop them loose.

Thanks Nipper. Took it slow, and it worked like a charm.
