Smile New to the V20 group

I'm so happy to find others who enjoy the classic V20 and to find this sight. I've owned my 1973 V20 Steplift for 32 years. I love it's lines and have had a lot of great times with it. I have rebuilt the inline 6 as well as replaced the engine mounting base floor. I will post some pics soon. I hope to benefit from all of your knowledge.

Keep it wet

Peter

32 years! That's tremendous. Looking forward to some pics, and more stories about the history of your V.

Welcome!

WELCOME Pete !!!
If you have owned this V20 for so many years, perhaps we will benefit from your knowledge too.
A friend from Puert Rico here.

Hi and hello... Allow me to add my "welcome to the site" to everyone elses salutations. Is your inline 6 the old Ford engine? Long ago I had a 73' also, and the inline 6 that was in it was a Ford. Underpowered for my tastes, but super reliable.

Smile Thanks for the welcomes

I hope that the picture of the stern shows up on this post. In answer to the question about the inline 6, it is a Chevy 165 hp. Very common block which I had to replace due to cracks. It's bored out and powers the V20 very well. Love the dual 20 gallon tanks as well. makes for a lot of run time. Thanks again to all. More pictures coming.

Thumbs up

Welcome to the Cult.

Love those old ones that someone has taken care of. You can probably contribute as much knowledge as you gain.
