Started building a pool house in loveladies one house from the bay.

That is interesting, it seems the rafters from the lower ridge up front are fastened to the hip from the main roof. I have never seen it done that way, how is the valley where the two roof lines meet going to be framed?

Just curious, The framing looks great though.

Just curious, The framing looks great though.

Good eye, being the inside ceiling is getting flattened and the valley rafter was so close to the hip I am going to do an over frame by cutting a 2x4 on a 8 1/2 pitch and lay it ontop of the smaller front dormers rafters and sheath over it.... other wise my valley rafters would have only been about 3 inches.

Pretty cool. I do not believe I have come across a hip and valley that close to each other. I have done more than a few 6"-8" apart where I did put in rafters. Good thinking on the rip.

good answer on the hip & valley stuff lumber, that is exactly what i was thinking when i saw the pics.












if you believe that i've got some oil free beaches in north fl to sell you.. is there any plumbing in it or is it just storage?
