Default Hey CB!!

I have a suggestion to use Mineral Oil in the transducer well...sounds good to me..won't freeze and should be less tendency to induce bubbles...

Whadda you think??...

Reelapeeling is right on the money. Matter of fact that's the recommended liquid for thru hull transducers. If you're using a liguid filled compass chances are you're using mineral oil already. It's the liquid of choice for the reasons Reel mentioned.

Makes perfect sense to me. I'll give it a try. I'm going to be setting the transducer in the Scout in this manner this weekend.
