Porta Bracket
Has anyone used the Porta Bracket??
I like it as I would like to go into some of the backcountry as well as deeper bays & offshore... Does anyone have a Optimax 150 on their V20 Cuddy?? If so, what kind of performance do you get?? Thanks, Thirdcoast

Hey Ferm:
Check the post I made on Joe's Maiden Voyage post in reply to Joe.. The bracket I am going with is way different that a fixed Gill or D&D style bracket... The reason is down here on the Texas coast (aka: The Third Coast or Redneck Riviera) we have a lot of deep bays, pretty good near offshore & a BUNCH of shallow bays & back country..  Now I can fish for Tarpon (primary), Snapper, Ling maybe some Wahoo and in shallow water Speckled Trout & Redfish... I will post some pics of the old girl since I have done a few interior mods as soon as I can... Thanks for the help, Thirdcoast

I knew the porta bracket was different, I posted that one because it has the 150 OPTI on it. I know the PORTA's are popular down here in FL on the 23 DOLPHIN, PANGA, and similiar hulls.
