Default 470 Front Motor Mount

Anyone have photos of a re-designed front motor mount. I'm having trouble keeping water from the middle bulkhead out of my original re-designed motor mount. Ain't an engineer. Anyway, if you have an idea that works or might work, i'd like to hear/see it. Thanks

I'm assuming you are talking about the wood/glass part, not the metal part holding the front of the motor up.

if you are worried about drainage, dig teh wood/glass out, rebuuild teh mount leaving a big enough gap for a piece of pvc to fit in teh bottom, to allow water to drain, I've also seen a metal brackect made to attach to the stringes that teh motor mount bolted to, it was compeletely open under neath.

I tried the pvc tubing most recently - must not have gotten a tight seal around them as water did collect underneath. Was thinking of using some of the synthetic deck board to use near the bottom leaving room for the water to migrate toward the bilge as you described. I'm not sure how/if it'll work well with fiberglass or if I'll need to glass that stuff in. Anyway, I'd seen some pictures somewhere and thought it might have been here. Was a couple of years ago.
