Default Wellcraft V-20 Manhattan Circle line cruise

My MIL is up from NC this week...anyone who visits from out of state gets the complimentary NYC circle line cruise in the V. 37 miles around the island. Takes about 3 hours. We launch at Liberty State Park which is just behind the Statue of Liberty, and go clockwise around the island heading north up the Hudson River, past the George Washington Bridge, take a right down the harlem river, into the east river and back across NY harbor to finish up.

Intrepid Museum

One of the retired Concorde's is permanently located here now.

Kids jumping off the rocks into the Harlem River --- just like Alcapulco

Sea plane!!! hey it is just like the carribean

Brooklyn Bridge

South Street Seaport

It was perfect timing, the cruise ship we passed on the way up was heading out as we came back across the harbor. I always wanted to get up close to one of those when they are under way (not that close)

Thanks for sharing those!!
For some reason it never dawned on me the ability to do just what your outing did, afternoon cruise around NY.

that is so unbelievably cool. I just would not have thought you could tow a boat into/near New York City for a cruise like that. It is really neat to see big cities by boat. I have done several cruises in Boston Harbor in my V, and have cruised the Ohio River through Louisville and Cincinatti.

I'll tell you, that water right by the Statue of Liberty, can be some very nasty water...I was quite surprised at the way I bouced up and down, just sitting there, and the trip up from the Verazzano bridge was no easy task either (took water over the bow, at least twice). You really need to know what you are doing and how to handle your boat, to be safe there.
