Default identifying year of my wellcraft

okay the guy who I traded with to get this told me it was a 76 but here is the vin wel00586m78a-v20, does that mean its a 78 or am i wrong. thaks james boyd

okay okay here is some pics I hope. also the guy I got this from said the transom was repaired with seacast but from what i can tell only the top half was done and it looks no done very good at that.. I hope it ain't that bad but we will see I like to raise the transom if I redo it cause the motor sits so far back anyways and this should keep this area even dryer.

good deal newer that I thought love the fact gas tank not 2 in the back. ends of tringer look not sealed anywere must have been built on a fri or monday. were they all this bad on the builds. the check i have was built like a tank.

That boat has been butchered, I would tell a friend to run the other direction, unless he had alot of money he didn't want anymore. Thats a train wreck. Hope you didn't give much for it. it can be resurrected but man ................
