Default Might have a not so bright future....

Well, we all know how crappy things are everywhere with the economy being in the crapper. With that in mind, I MIGHT have to sell the "Southern 'Crews'ers" in about a month. My wife is outta work... again, and I just can't bring myself to make mortgage payments from the savings account, so the 'ole V-20 might have to go. I'm trying to sell my house too, but it's not a very good market right now. Willy if you want a house for about 215,000 give me a shout. I'm .1 miles from the boat ramp. I'll send pics if you like. This link should take you to the map. The location button is off the actual house. My house has the very light colored roof in the cul-de-sac. P.S. I have a fiberglass guy that lives right next door to me that is THE BEST in this area-does all the warranty work for local marinas.

darn bc....sorry to hear about your troubles...hope things turn around for you soon. Takes some real fortitude to make that kind of decision, I know I would be hard pressed to make a rational decision like that....on the other side though dont beat yourself up about spending savings....savings are not only for retirement they are for the proverbial rainy day and you happen to have a little rain falling on you at the moment. Consider yourself fortunate that at least you at least have something to fall back on...

Sorry to hear of your troubles BC. Don't know what the CEO and I are going to do. I am going down to drop off my kids at Myrtle Beach for several days at our good friends place they have there. The wife and I are not staying we are going to mozzy on back along the coast and stop and spend some time with Lee (Garagenc) to check out that area of the state.
Looks like you are in a beautiful area, is that your primary home or is it a vacation house? Looks like it would be sweet for either.

Thanks Willy, it's our primary home. we just can't afford it anymore with one income. We're moving into my parents garage apartment a little further down the waterway, so it's not a complete dissapointment. I really don't want to deplete our savings, but we'll figure something out. Well, if you start looking around Wilmington, give me a shout.

where else can you get deep fried seafood by the bulk, fireworks, 24 hour a day golf proshops, t-shirt stores, strip clubs, outlet malls, and pancake houses that are all walking distance from the beach. Throw in "Broadway at the Beach", Bass Pro Shops, "Midevil Times", and the "Dixie Stampede", you have one of the 8 wonders of the Redneck World! DOn't forget, with a purchase of a beach towel, you get a free hermit crab!

Sorry to hear that BC,

My wife and her two sisters are losing their jobs after 32yrs, 31yrs & 28yrs they work at PET Dairy (Pet MIlk & ice-cream). I guess she will just have to work hard at her realestate job and help me with my landscaping business. Tuff times are hitting almost everyone.
