Default New Member questions on V-18

*** I'm posting this for a new member whose account has not been activated yet ***

I was wondering if anyone has owned or fished in the older style, 1990,
Wellcraft 180 center console. I have found one local to me for what seems like a very good price. Any opinions on this boat would be greatly appreciated. How is the layout for fishing, is there enough room for 2-3 to fish comfurtably? Are there any known issues? Is the boat self-bailing? If so does water tend to come back up through the scuppers when someone is in the rear of the boat?

Thanks
Irish Jig

Sorry just seen this....I have a 90 model and love it.

Yes its self bailing.

I can fish 3 comfortably.

I LOVE the boat...its a lot of boat to only be 18'....rides better than most of my buddies 19-20' bay boats.

Water comes in and out with two big guys standing in the back but not too bad...you wont be standing in it really...just stays in the trap area mostly.

The layout is fine for fishing but mine has a lot of modifications that improve it tremendously

There are plenty of pics in my gallery as well.
