well i think i'm in bitness...just bought a jackplate...CMC powerlift ML-65 for $75.....gonna take it apart and clean it up tonight....and then dowel up the transom and hopefully by this weekend have it mounted :)

only thing is this JP weights 32lbs..plus my motor which is 378lbs...so right at 410 lbs i'm putting on this transom...my 120 force was only 300 lbs.......i hope it holds and dont sink my scuppers *:-/

The boat is rated for 200 hp, and most 150 to 175 go 390 or so. 32# extra anit going to hurt you!!!!!

They're 150 hp, but you should be fine. Take a fat guy fishing and make him sit in the bow.

its rated for a 150 2-stroke when it has a brand new transom...but 16yrs later i'm sure it not all kosher inside thats whats worrying me ...but only one way to find out though...
