Franco that looks great, but I think you got to get a V20 in there and the Wellcraft name. Probably in place of the building. Great idea Cape to the Keys. Wish I'd thought of that ;D

How about instead of two seperate maps in each corner do the U.S coastline across the shirt, Maine to Florida concept with a V20 and a pic of the boat. In the middle a star marking the VA. spot and the 1st Norton Snagger Fishing Tournament with the date. JMO, if I had your artistic skills thats where I'd head with it.

Franco, Willy
Way cool graphic ... my vote is for coastline The light looks like Thomas Point Light, here off Annapolis. I found a few llinks that the Norton Snagger Fish team ought to knw about BEFORE getting anything wet in June! VA SALTWATER FISHING REGULATION INFO: http://www.mrc.state.va.us/regulatio...hingrules.shtm VA SALTWATER FISHING LICENSE INFO: http://www.mrc.state.va.us/regulatio...licensing.shtm by the way is it the "norton snagger fishing team" or the "snagged nortons fishing team" ! ! !... More later as I find more links..... CBill

Either way would be good Franco, but I do think that the main pictoral emphasis should be on our beloved V's somehow if you can work that in with your Grand Poobah magic fingers ;D

Francio
I knew I had seenthat light before! ..... (I was wrong thinking it was Thomas Point.... It says it was Choptank River Light - I was off by twenty five miles - Cjoptank River is SSE of Annapolis) Go raed.... http://www.uscg.mil/hq/g-cp/history/...USES/LHVA.html CHERRYSTONE BAR LIGHT Lighthouse Name: Cherrystone Bar Light Location: South of Cape Charles Harbor; nearest Town/City is Cape Charles, Virginia to mark the channel into the Eastern Shore port. Date Built: 1858 Type of Structure: Cottage style hexagonal screwpile lighthouse Characteristics: Fourth order Fresnel Lens, in 1888 a red sector of about 210 degrees of arc was placed in the light with red showing the bay. Foghorn: Bell Appropriation: Built for almost $10,000.00 Status: No longer standing Historical Information: * The light was attacked by Confederate forces during the Civil War and was reestablished in 1862 by Union forces. * Deactivated in 1919 and replaced with the automatic acerlene lantern on a caisson. * The original hexagonal lighthouse was taken off its screwpile, moved by barge (October 1920 – April 1921) becoming the Choptank River Light in Maryland (also known as Benoni Point Light), making it the only lighthouse to ever be moved to another site to be used as a working navigational aid. Keepers: Gunter one of the few black men in lighthouse service. The above was researched and drafted by Catherine (Kitty) Price, a Chesapeake Chapter of the U.S. Light House Society volunteer. Photographs (click on light name below to access image): CHERRYSTONE BAR LIGHT; no photo number/caption; date/photographer unknown.
