I ran my ol' gas-suckin' Rude 50:1 for 5 flawless years ... of course a case could be made, if I'd heavied-up on the oil, it'd still be runnin' ::) ... but we'll never know ;) ;D ...

OMC tech told me way back...when idlin'/trollin' for long periods of time, TILT the motor UP ... this will prevent build-up of unburned oil from accumulating near the plug, causing it to foul ... and reduce smoke ... ;) ...this is more important for the carbed 2-strokers :) ...

Well guys, I took her for a long ride this past Sat. we went 18 miles one way, cruised at approx. 30 mph on flat seas moved around many times and returned in the afternoon on choppy waters which made the ride more fun :o, the gas gauge shows 3/4 full, so untill I fill up again, I wont know my gas mileage...

The motor ran flawlessly and I loved the V20's smooth ride, in fact I purposely crossed a *lobster boat wake at cruise...the wife didn't like the sea bump but I loved the way the V cut those wakes. ;D

One thing though, I got the alarm for lack of lube, I suppose I need to unplug the harness near the VRO pump...
