We have a ramp here that always gets mud, and if you get in to it you will sink to your axle!
I know it happened to me!! Had to push boat off and town came with a back ho and dug the trailer out. They then cleaned the ramp and I was able to get the boat.

IF done properly, you can really extend the life of a roller trailer. I back down until the water is maybe 4 inches from the rear hub. Then let her roll of maintaining control by the winch. Recovery works same way thanks to powerwinch. None of my hardware, hubs brakes, axles and such ever touch the water. Try that with a bunk trailer. ;)
