The connections the guys are talkin' about are key to keepin' that light goin'...another thing ya wanna do is shoot a little somethin'( WD, Corrosion X, contact cleaner ) in the base and bottom of pole-connections from time to time...and if ya haven't used it for a while, w/ the juice still wet, plug it in a couple of times to keep those contacts fresh ;) 8) ...
I used this base...put it in in '99 and it's never failed...yet ::) ;D ;D... http://www.boatersworld.com/product/197260839.htm
