Ok guys here it is....No there are no sides, mine is as you can see next to a smaller shed and then a shed over my cleaning table and freezer so there is no need for sides. It also has an 16 inch overhang on each side. It gets a leaf or two blown under during a BAD storm, but no water at all. For a few more bucks you could add some tin on each side . You may also go with treated or even white latice sides down 4 foot on each side. This may please the Mrs. a little more as well. ;)

I forgot to figure in a few 2x4s for angled bracing and for securing the trusses.

Note on the right side I left the overhang open because this spring I will be extended the shed out over the little boat. The little shed was already there and was just something I threw together with scraps when we first bought the place. I want to redo it to match the pitch of the large one and make it look nicer. :)

One other thing I will be doing is running an overhead waterline up one of the 4x4s and onto the middle truss. I will have a curly retractable hose overhead for cleaning out baby after a day on the water. This helps to prevent dragging a hose all over the place and scuffing up sweet thing too. ;)

Last but not least, on the left side is my fish cleaning station. Yes thats a 6.5" pioneer speaker running off of my stereo system in the shed. I gots ta have my tunes while Im filletin dem snappas!! 8)

The 18cc isnt over here right now. I keep it at a friends house under cover during the off season. ;)

that's some shelter you got there Cap, how long did it take you to build that? Stinky, that looks good what you got goin on there BUT, I know it's no concern for you southern boys, I've gotta think about the occasional 15"-18" of wet snow. At about 10 lbs. per sq. ft., suddenly you've got nearly two tons of a norton crusher on its way.

Pitch it steeper, deck it and shingle it! :D

With snow in the mix that is an entirely different story, I didnt think about that. ::)

i am in willaiamstown nj. 35 miles fro ac and 45 min from the del bay. it has not froze in there yet this season. it will though if it gets real cold. my plastic is white so it does not get hot in the summer months, but of it was clear plastic it prob would not freeze in there . it would take much less sun to heat it up. a small heater would stop it from freezing to. there are two layers of plastic to help to insulate. if you would like a picture let me know i can email but cant put it on the site. bb
