There were lots of boats around but no one even saw us, they were a little far away.
Water 65*

Another boat came in just as we did and asked what happened as I was covered in blood, I told him and they got scared themselfs and thats why they were back in already they had a 20' CC

It was getting tuff out there!

Ha Ha great minds think a like CTT!!

But the thing here is that it would not have helped this time!!
With all the water it could not have pumped fast enouigh to save bthe day, it would have helped when I got her up right.

Wow MJ! Just read it. Glad you are both OK. I would not be surprised if the bracket displacement helped you in that terrible situation. It certainly helped having a full transom. Mine would have been under (again). Let me know if you need any help. I may have a spare Rule 1500GPH. I'll let you know.

This is a sobering reminder to all of us, respect the sea and what it can do. Stay alert and have a plan for when it goes wrong.

Glad you and Kenny are OK MJ.

MJ:

I'M JUST GETTING BACK TO THE SITE AND LEARNED OF YOUR CLOSED CALL, I'M GLAD YOU CAME OUT ALRIGTH,
THE BOAT CAN BE FIXED, BUT YOU CAN NOT BE REPLACED TO YOUR FAMILY.

I HAD MY CLOSED CALL TO AND THAT'S WHEN I DECIDED TO INSTALL MY 3000 GPM PUMP AND TO BUY SOME OF THOSE AUTOMATIC PFD'S, MAYBE IS YOUR TIME FOR THAT.

REGARDS, LESTERUS

MJ, did you have time to take a gps reading at that location?
The least the coast guard can do is mark the spot with a buoy till they have time to fix that hole in the water. ;D ;D
