8barrel,

My 73 is set up just like yours, except I'm missing the sliding hatch. Can you give me the dimensions on the slider so I can attempt to fabricate one?

Thanks
Franco

if you never take my advice onm anything, take it on this, get a lawyer. Been there tried that and I ended up paying through the nose for an attorney in the end to undo all that went wrong. I promise it gets ugly no matter how nice she maybe right now. I'm speaking from experience here.

Hi I noticed the seats you have in your boat, and I really liked them. Where did you get them?

Default Looking for a type of material ??

I am goin to replace the vynl covered plywood under the dash, at the stern and in front of the gas tanks. I want to replace it with something real strong that can clean eaily. I am looking for a material that is something like the material that white cutting boards are made of. I figure I need 3/ 4 X 8 sheets to do all the work. One sheet for the stern one for the fule tanks and one for the dashes. However I do not know where I can purchase it.

I've done a little work w/Starboard... I'd tell ya to use 1/4" S'board in front of the tanks and 3/4" under the dash...the material in front of the tanks is cosmetic and protective, but has no weight bearing on it...on the other hand, whatever you use under the dash actually SUPPORTS the dash and everything on it, including the windshield ;) ...

I bought a full sheet of 3/8 and a full sheet of 3/4

Reel is right 3/4 under dash and on floor covers

3/8 on tank covers rear bulkheads and so on. Works great and easy to clean!!
