Our trip is almost here!! Any inside scoop on where the scallops are at lately would be much appreciated. We're staying in steinhatchee at the Sunset Place resort.... It's the last one you see on the right as you are motoring outta the channel in the boat parade.

Homasassa has small ones but plentiful.
5 gallons yield about a quart.

What is the good word senior Phat? Seacrets?

I heard:
Homasassa is better than last week with fewer jellyfish.

Crystal River is a little slower than last year but picking up the pace every day getting a little better.

Keaton Beach and north are said to be real good.

Pepperfish and Horseshoe Beach have a poor outlook. Too much fresh water from the rains have the salinity messed up and the newspapers were reporting shellfish kills.
