FWIW...The trim fin is pushed to the port side far as it'll go.

if I push mine to the port side it would pull more to the left......i think i need to rotate mine to the starboard side :-/

I agree, motor all the way down = harder steering. I have NFB so I don't get the pull but I imagine I would have pull without NFB.
