I no longer have injection, but when I did my oil tank was full and in the boat all winter and never a problem
And I can assure you It gets cold here!

When I was running the Renkin I would go fishing when it was below 32 degrees and never had a problem with the oiler. My main concern was the additives in the oil and if age would affect them.

snowmobiles are oil injected and it's way below freezing 95% of the time you ride them! never herd of the newer injection oil gelling up because of a freeze thaw cycle.

My marine ( Yammie) wrench sez the oil injector systems are good for stretching the use of oil according to load but, ditching it and mixing the oil yourself @ 50:1 was always better.
