Stinky my condolences bud, and a sharp salute to your Gramps.
My father was a world war 2 vet also, I lost him just before I turned 17. I sympathize with what your saying about the time lost and the regrets. I have quite a few about that. It's something that I try to get across to all my family and friends. Mike and the Mechanics "In the living Years" crushes me every time I hear it. The good thing Stink is he is with men of honor now he served with and I guarentee you it is one very happy reunion. God Bless him ;)

Same hear Stink, very sorry for your loss, It is because of patriots like your grandfather that we are able to enjoy the freedoms we have today.
My dad will be 82 in November, he was also in the south Pacific in WWII.
