It's pretty controversial. A small town WAY across two rivers (the Chechessee and the Broad) has annexed the land, and there are plans to build a new dry-stack facility with all the trimmings. Parish I don't know about retiring and running a marina. Maybe working part time at one? Running one doesn't sound much like retirement to me, unless you have a lot of good staff under you. In my experience, dealing with the public in that kind of capacity can be awful. :P But I've often thought that IF and when I can ever retire, I'd like to work part time for a marina/boat yard. Could be fun. 8)
