I never Anchor!! I can't remember when the last time I did??
But if I have to, what I do is throw the thing over the side, get it caught, then I hook it to my bow rope and let it go. Leaving the extra rope in the cockpit with me.
When its time to pull the anchor I yank it till I get the bow rope, undo it and pull the anchor right into the cockpit with me.
might just have to use the anchor next week Cod fishing?? Wow that will be different.
Hey Mac.. Mind your business!! ;D

Hey, MJ...if pullin' anchor chain back to cleat becomes pain, my buddy in Charleston uses a HEAVY-DUTY rubber bungee to secure chain back to cleat...snuggs that anchor up nicely and easy to deploy and store...no rattles... ...
CB was telling me that is what he use to do!! I am going to be doing the same also!!

You can do it two ways. I just remember the code in my head. Which is [quot] [/quot] I left the letter e off the end of quote for this example.

Copy paste what ever the quote you want and put between the sections.

The other way is to hit the quote symbol in the reply window. It is in the bottom row next to last on the right, looks like a piece of paper with a arrow pointing to the right.
You will end up with the same thing as above. Just copy paste as stated.

Here we go again folks!! This is going to be another how do you post a picture thread!

2 pieces of 3/4 Starboard, to make 1 1/2" Bolted toghter the run thur table saw to make clean sides. Then routered the edges, then sanded the sides.

Right now the rope goes in to a rope locker in the very forward bow. But I am going to put it into a bucket soon.

finished size is: * 1 1/2 thickX 24" Long X 9" wide

If you want more details Ask!
