CT, I have been kicking that idea around a little, but the big problem is finding someone around here who isn't going to charge an arm and a leg. I'm still considering my options though, and I'm open to suggetions. Bare in mind, this boat needs a new transome, the floor needs to come up and holes through the hull need to be filled and repaired from where previous owners got creative to install what looks to be plumbing for live bait wells. On a more humorous note, what I originally thought was the bildge pump, turned out to be a water pump for an improvised livewell. I have yet to find an actual bildge pump on this boat. I guess the previous owners had that much confidiance in the hull ;D or just had a manual bildge on hand....

Anyway, here are some recent pics.

This is the cockpit. notice the hoses in the cuddy....

My best guess is the hoses where used for a live baitwell. There are two holes below the waterline on at the bow that these hoses are fed from. Also notice the crack, that goes all the way through the fiberglass and was previously painted over.

Step on this crack and water comes out. I didn't think there was any floatation foam in this boat, but something is retaining water....kinda bloated ;) Also, the cooler looks as though it's suppose to drain into the bildge, but when I tried to clean it out the drain was clogged and the cooler just filled up with water. I tried clearing the drain with no luck. These are the reasons I think the floor needs to come up.

This pic just shows the rear of the cockpit with everything removed (except the seats) I should've taken a pic of where the other "creative" livewell water pump was, down in the bildge. It could have been used for a raw water washdown as well, who knows....

I think I'm in a little more of an optimistic mood than I was the other night, and I'm definitly open to suggestions :) . I appreciate everyones' input!

Structural work sure intimidates me, but there are others here that seem to take it in stride. For sure if you don't have the time and it costs too much, it ain't gonna happen.

I wonder if the plumbing down in the cuddy is from a previously plumbed head. With the below the water line fittings you described, combined with the age of the hull, it's possible the head was simply plumbed out the bottom through the big hose and the smaller hose was a vent. Just a guess.

I bought the trailer brand new and it has roughly 40 miles on it. It hasn't even seen the water yet and I didn't plan on getting rid of it, I just wanted this boat off of it.
