Anyone have any experience with bending stainless. I want to reshape the bowrail a bit. It is not too bad, but.... I was planning on removing it and pounding the crap out of it (using wood braces). I believe heat would ruin it. Perhaps a tubing bender rental??

I believe they are cold formed on a mandrel, you would have to do the same with a large pipe bender I think. Hammering it won't do anything but damage the surface.

You need to remove the section that is bent and fill it with sand. Once filled, cap off the ends and then start to rebend. Thats teh Old Skool way of doint it. ;)
