Hey, the 198 Carolina Skiff semi-v was one of the first boats I fished on in the salt. Had a 115 4 stroke. My buddy's dad has had that thing out 10 miles king fishing, up and down the coast out of Oregon Inlet striper fishing and everywhere in between. They are tough as nails, that's for sure.

I would love to have one for flounder gigging and inshore stuff.

Sounds really nice. I'm jealous. :D

WOW F1 - I've heard of the DLX but what is DLV? Bigger and better I'm sure! Look at all that room! That my friend is one sweeeeeeeet skiff! I love the suzuki 4 strokes too. 5 or 6 year warranty right?

Love it man!

Thanks man. Its all shiney and new - I cant wait to mess it up a bit. ;D I've added a bunch of stuff to it. Rod holders , radio, ff GPS etc.

The Dlv has a whaler style hull. Its kind of cathedral in the bow. Pretty flat in the back. It doesnt ride like my old v20. But, its relatively cheap brand new, has lots of room (8ft beam) has live well and dry storage in the decks, and is easy to tow. Plus it burns almost no fuel. I just have to stock up on warm clothes. ;)

Now that I have thoroughly hijacked this thread (sorry Willy) I have no probs priming from the bulb which is under the console with the tank.

Fillet, That's what I had been trying to find in my area used and no or undersized motor for two years until my granddad's boat surfaced. Too nice :-*
Willy I got to ask the obvious: the size of the hose from the tank OK? The filter not slightly clogged or even the bubble possibly slightly defective?
