I agree. It was titled "Americans", but I am sure people like yourself all over the world would do the same, esp the "everyday man" as you say it.

There was a recent video that was seen by many recently about a group of bystanders that lifted up a BMW car on fire to free a motorcyclist who was pinned under it. There was even a female in the group that was assisting while a guy in a suit (assumed to be the driver), just stood by and watched.

I know a woman who many years ago lifted a car off a guy...he crawled out on his own...she was tellin me about it later and still couldn't believe she was able to do it...
