Hey there gents...I am looking for what size trailer do you need for a V-20, cuddy or console. Length of trailer I know, but what weight capacity is my question so you don't have too stiff a ride for the boat. I've been there, done that. Extra capacity is not always the answer. Thanks for your help in advance, Greg.......................

My rig, including Lard-A$$ Honda is around 4700 lbs...if I were buyin' trailer now, I'd be lookin' in 6000lb range...if short tow, single axle...if you tow a lot of long (1 hour or more), interstate trips, I'd go tandem axle...but, hey...that's just me ;) ...

I have no idea what the thing weights?? But I am like reel,
I have a 2004 Load-Rite 4700# tandem trailer and its perfect. You will have to decide what you want as far as bunks or rollers, everyone differers when it comes to that!

buy a tandem with 14" wheels and for a 21 to 23 ft boat that way your trailer tongue is long enough to keep your trucks tires out of the water. most trailers like that are 5000 lo or 6000 lb load trailers. plus don't buy aluminum nice trailers but they crack if you do many long highway trips from the flexing in the middle.

Do what they say. I've got a single axle trailer that came with the boat new and I'm going to convert to tandem when I get the boat seaworthy. If you want a softer ride reduce the air pressure. Experiment and see how low you can go without the tires heating up or the trailer swaying too much. ;)

Thanks for the info, I appreciate all input. I hope to have a V-20 by end of the season this year and hope to work on it over the winter. I need to put together a budget for what I can afford. Thanks again, you guys are the greatest, Greg..............

It don't matter what the budget is. You're going to go over when it comes to boats. ;D Hope you don't have a jealous woman, when you get a V there ain't room for two. ;D ;D ;D
