trailer...proper size?

Hey there gents...I am looking for what size trailer do you need for a V-20, cuddy or console. Length of trailer I know, but what weight capacity is my question so you don't have too stiff a ride for the boat. I've been there, done that. Extra capacity is not always the answer.
