Fray, indeed that's true, but MJ knew to fill the gap. On a boat as nice as the one being sold, you would think they'd go the extra mile to make it look nice... After all, everything else looks cherry.
Plus, if (granted, this may not be the case) the guy bought the bracket and platform for that boat, they can get a fairly close fit since they ask for specifications upon placing your order. MJ said that the gap on his was from not having the correct bracket and platform. All that to say, that I certainly wouldn't have allowed that to keep me from buying it if I had the money... It's still a beautiful boat.
