Default OK, I ADMIT IT. . . . . . . .

i am, perhaps, the biggest jerkoff here. . . .

in late september, my first season with the V, i rode it hard and put it away wet.

didnt winterize, didnt shrinkwrap, didnt remove battery, just ran her on the hose for about 2 to 3 minutes and walked away.


what an a s s h o l e .

just started her up. sang out on the second crank. ran like a dog without a leash. man o man she sounded sweet.
ok, ok. got alot of work to do. just pulled the trim pistons off.
gonna pull the outdrive but dont know where the fluid drain is.

sorry hamster no pictures. my photographer is still at work.
well, i have alot of work ahead.
will try to get a few pictures up during the prep (hamster).

Mercruiser? Starboard side of the outdrive, lower unit, where the bullet shape starts on the bow side of it, look under there. There will be a screw there with a big slot in it. Turn it left a few times. When oil plops out into your hand, you found it. Oh yeah, take out the screw in the upper gear box too. I helps facilitate oil drainage and filling.
