The reason I said to use a hole saw is that with Starboard when you use the Jig saw it heats up, you have to move fast, I have got the cut done and had to go do it again, it melts its self back toghter.
It can be done but with such a thick piece you might have to do it 2 or 3 times to get it to break free. Use a drum sander or dremel to smooth when done.
