Long story short, bought this boat in Middelboro Ma from a boat mechanic name CHRIS MAUDSLEY who owned Bayside Marine. Never got the title now the boat and Chris are missing. Wife told me thay got divorced and he is now somewhere in Werham shoting herion. Sold everything even many boats that wern't his for scrap to feed his herion additiction. He is in his late 40's heavy set and accualy a gifted mechanic. My boat is in the gallery it was a 1976 i/o with a nice hardtop. Any info will help. Thanks

Man, sorry to hear about this. Good luck with recovery. Where's the V-20 dtectives this morning. Boat may show up on ebay or craigslist? Kinda hard to hide a V-20 with a hardtop from this bunch. Maybe we'll get lucky and she'll turn up.
Good luck,

That sucks man. Was that Bayside Marine in Duxbury? I bought my Grady White from them back in the day. Don't remember a feller named Chris owning the place though. I dealt with one of the owners, but can't remember his name off the top of my head. I'll have to check my records.
We'll keep an eye out for ya. Check in at Boat Brokerage in Mashpee. There's been a lot of shady deals through that place. >:(

Was this a private sale ? with Chris or did you look and buy the boat on his business property ?.
1. File criminal charges for theft by deception. In Delaware, anything over a thousand is a Felony. 2. If deal was made while he was acting as a seller from his business, place a lien against his business and file civil complaint. 3. Do you have any paper work that shows that payment was made, bill of sale, check ??. Make copies and turn over to the police. 4. The boat might be able to be entered into NCIC, but since it wasnt transferred into your name, not sure how it would be listed, might not of been his to sell ?? Do you have the Hull serial number ?? Any pics of the boat turn over to police. Check local paper in the for sale section, post a few pics at local boat repair shops. How much did you pay for the boat ? Keep us informed.

Get a picture of Chris from his wife and yer "V" and circulate them around Werham...give 'em to police and all marinas, boat shops/suppliers of any kind...do you have a bill of sale?...was it insured in your name?...

Seen your galleray, Nice V. But when you say the boat is gone. Was it already at your home when it was stolen ??. If so, additional charges, Chris can be listed as a possible suspect since nobody actually seen him take it from your property.

His boat repair co. was called bayside marine out of Middleboro no connection with the other marina. The boat is most likely parted out for parts and scrap. He did a lot of mobile repairs around RI and upper cape, even has the steamship authority as a client. I'm in the process of filing charges along with a handful of other people he ripped off. Junkies eventually get caught doing something stupid but it takes awhile if the needle doesn't get em.

Boat was at his shop-house.I have not seen it in about 6 months so it could have been gone for a while. The no title thing was a big mistake on my part.
