I hope you have a bill of sale showing the full amount! No title means you never took ownership and he had the right to sell it, but if you have a good bill of sale you can prove you payed him and might get the cash back in a small claims court?
But if he is like you say, there will be nothing to get from him.
if it was me, I be hunting him down like the dog he is!! His wife must know how to get him if she has to!! Wareham isn't that big!
After you bought it why did you not bring it home for 6 months?
Your right there have been mistakes, none that your ever likley to make again!!
