Default the Kajun curse strikes again!

well i get down to PCB and think i'm going to have a week of fishing bliss..monday i visit old friends and do alil house hunting....tuesday i was going fishing!

i get to the ramp and lower the motor..BLOOSH! all the tilt and trim fluid comes out......now i've had a slow leak from the seals for awhile but usually i just add alil fluid and i'm good to go....i guess the 14hr trip at 70mph down the highway finally finished it off...lol...

well now that its in the down position and all the fluid is out....it wont go back up!....i tried the manual release screw but it barely budges and i end up stripping the screw...now i'm fooked...

me and the marina mechanic tried to get it tilted back up for about an hour..tried all kinds of things..no dice...if i could have got it tilted back up , i could have removed the T&T and put a rebuild kit on it,got it tilted just a bit, enough to trailer it back to lot....looks like no fishin for me...i went and parked it back in the storage lot....i'm just gonna wait till i get my engine hoist and stand then pull the motor..but that'll be in june sometime....:(

here's my $35 a month storage spot , about the only thing that has gone right so far lol
