Tsubaki not sure of sizes will check but they look right and I don't know on the primer functioning yet going to check that tommorw if the weather cooperates
And the filter is a brand new Yamaha 10 micron cartridge style and it is on tight, I tried to listen for escaping air of fuel all thru the set up and found nothing.

Hi Bill

Nice boat!! Are you going to do some shooting out of it? What kind of top and cruise speed will you have? Looks like you might be doing some of the same type of fishing that I will! I was sad to see your boat sold. It looks like it went to a good home. ;D ;D

Are you sure that the filter doesnt have air in it? On all of the Racors that I have taken apart, you have to fill the can up completely with fuel before you install it. Otherwise the motor loses its prime. If you ran it and it was ok after a while that might not be the problem, but just a thought. If it was sputtering and the ball was going soft I would think either air in the system or a leak. If it was a leak, you would see fuel spitting out somewhere.

Willy,

The great thing about your problem is.......you just drag it back to the dealer and tell em to fix it. Ah the joy of a new boat. ;D
