Default Re: Fuel bulb locations

No valve MJ, I actually told my dealer I wanted a shut off vlave after the fuel seperator so I could close off the 9.9 completely. They were going to do it but had concerns for some reason and called Yamaha dealer tech support and they told them do not do it. They said that I would not need it.
I don't think that is the problem, for some reason I think it is too far away fuel line run wise from the tank to get a good prime started right away. I will find out next time I take it out and see if now that it has been run if the fuel lines maybe had a vacum in them or something crazy on the initial use of the tanks and lines.
Just seems that if you squeezed a primer bulb coming out of the tank you would fill and pressurise the lines fine. I don't know ???
