Default Got her running...

...but not wet ;D I installed the outdrive today after an 8 hour shift at work. It sure would have been easier if I had an engine hoist, I had to muscle it on by myself. I somehow managed to lose one of the bushings for the trim cylinders, it was there when I started, went to put them on, and 1 was gone >:( I looked every where for it, including in the lawn, I'll probably find it with the lawn mower. Anyway, I could still trim it up and down, but I gotta get it fixed before splash down.

I filled up the outdrive with oil, hooked up the muffs, turned on the water, turned the key and cranked and cranked and cranked. Sumbiotch! Went and got the can of starting fluid, squirt-squirt, crank crank crank. Nuttin. Now I start ta cussing. Squirt squirt squiiiiiirt, crank crank pow vrooooom! Yeeehaw ;D Nuttin sounds like a good ol American V-8 with no mufflers, I got wood! I ran her for 20 mins on the muffs, put her in and out of gear a few times to make sure the bladed thingy went round and round in the right directions. Sounds good, looks good, must be good.

Now I have to get one of those dadblamed bushings and a new bilge blower, and I'm ready to break in the outdrive.
