They say the worst for us is from 3 pm to 3 am,
Very light rain all morning, and now, looks like a 10 mph wind out almost not even blowing?

Other then the wind it aint bad here. A little rain but for a long time. Tornada watch till 8 pm but that has past now.

Yep, Spring tides tonight. Full moon in April brings the highest tides of the year. Fortunately there is enough West in this wind that its not piling up water on the coast.

Our tides ran 2-3.5 feet BELOW normal during the blow.
This from the NWS: Blowout tides - Since yesterday afternoon, tides along the southeast South Carolina and southeast Georgia coasts have been running over 2 to 3 feet below predicted levels. These conditions were the result of very strong offshore winds and low barometric pressure occurring during the same time. This phenomenon is commonly referred to as blowout tides, also known as depressed sea level. We had a lot of wind from Saturday night through last night, but very little of the much needed rain. Heritage golf tournament had to be postponed until today, it became so dangerous on the course. One of the course marshalls was hit by a pine tree branch and taken to the hospital (he is okay). My yard is covered with oak and pine debris -- it'll take me all of my evenings this week to clean it up. But it could have been worse, I suppose.

Tides are running three above normal here and they are not sure what direction the wind will be out of at high tide, the storm, especially the wind has stalled over the state longer than they thought it would, at least the main body of it so predicting the winds is hit and miss now.
Lumber how is it down on the Island, doing ok I hope.

hey willy , the island was flooded from about 10 am to around 2 pm then the wind shifted out of the west and started blowin water out of the back bay .... when I left the island at 5 it was not bad at all .... hope you guys are doin ok ;)
