Default bottom paint

my boat is trailered but the bottom looks bad years of old paint.I want to paint the bottom just so it looks better and i dont need a antifowling paint just something to smooth it out and look better what should i use

Some one here sanded all the lose stuff and painted with Rust-Oleum, had good results and it lasted pretty good.

wish i new about the rustoleum a week ago. haha two words about sanding and repainting the bottom... it sucks. still in the process but i know it will look good when done.. good luck steplift

How bad (or good) is the factory coat? If you haven"t progressed too far can you remove the bottom paint and buff and spot repair the gel coat?
