Default Fuel water separator

Recently purchased a V20 cutty (1986). Has anybody installed a fuel/water separator (Raycor)? Where did you install it? I'm also going to install pedistal seats, can anybody give me the distance from the helm and the height of the pedistal? Thanks in advance for your help.

I put mine under the splashwell...easy to get to...leave some space under it...

height and location of your new pedistal seats(congratulations, by the way) can vary...generally you wanna be high for best visibility...you wanna be close enough to the helm that you're not havin' to REACH for the wheel, but leave enough room so you can also stand at the wheel...

Good luck w/it...

I have a I/O so the filter is way under were you can't even see it.
I agree with RP, its your choise! I don't no if you like to sit most of the time or stand?? But i like to stand alot! So I have installed a flush mount plate on the floor and now when I want the seat out the way I just pull it out and put in cabin. Now I am free to rom about. When I want to sit I just put back in the hole and i sit. Takes about 3 seconds to go to and from having a seat.
I have been thinking about putting a couple of more plates in the floor so I can move the seat to a different location for better fishing if needed??

Good Luck
