Regardless of which brand you decide to buy, get the most vertical pixels 400 or more, most power, largest screen and in my openion a single frequency, wide angle for 40 fathoms or less. One disadvantage of having a combination unit gps/ff is if one needs repair you are out of both. One disadvantagve of having two seperate units is they take up a good bit of console space.
