I am thinking like you are on that box, but I am leaning towards using it for storage instead of fish and using a cooler for fish, that way you can sit on it and you don't have to unload the fish from the box into the cooler when your done. *Elemenate one thing to clean. Another thing that is leaning me towards not having liquid in that box is the big hole on the starboard side in the rear (where my pump hose exits the box) that will allow whatever is in the box to spill onto your gastank top when you punch it to get on plane.
